Livermore/Mines Road - Amy/Rick

  • 26 Apr 2015
  • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Kaiser Alameda
Ride Leader: Amy/Rick

Start:  Kaiser 8:00AM departure by car

Description3+/B+/50.  We'll roll by 9 am. Mines Road itself is a straight shot, up (and we mean UP) and back.  However, it's mostly all "3" climbing, with some flat stretches and rollers.  The first few miles between the parking lot and Mines Road are flat, and the first mile or so of the climb is a healthy "4" so we'll call this a 3+ climb over 20 miles. Bring water and snacks, spare tube, etc. - ain't nothing out there!  And check your brakes before Sunday: you'll need them on the descent! for directions, ride, or meeting in Livermore go to forum for contact information
