Every September we invite members to join the Team Alameda board, as terms will expire soon for half the current board members.
The board typically meets once each month, currently in the evening of the first Wednesday. If you join the board, your two-year term will start in January. The board's members decide their subcommittee assignments at the first meeting of the year. Have a look at the current board-member assignments below to get an idea of what the areas of responsibility are.
If, by the end of Sept., we have more volunteers than open seats, club members will be asked in October to elect board members from among the volunteers. As provided by the club bylaws, if we don't have more volunteers than open seats, all volunteers will be considered to be elected and we won't hold a vote.
