Attention All Riders!
January & February 9:00 am Saturday Rides
Now that the mornings are colder, and the roads are sometimes damp in the morning, are you ever tempted to hit the "snooze" button on the alarm clock, but worry that you'll miss the 8AM ride? Well beginning December 3, you may have a chance to do both….sleep in a bit, AND make the Saturday ride. Some of our ride leaders are interested in doing a 9:00 AM start for Saturdays during December, January AND February--giving the sun a chance to warm things up a bit before we get the bikes out. There are still some ride leaders who are interested in leading Saturday rides, leaving Kaiser at 8:00AM….so it's really important for you to check our calendar to verify start times each week for Saturday rides, as rides and start times may vary.
We look forward to seeing you out there, and remember to ride safely.
New Team Alameda Jerseys for 2012
Orders Due by January 31!!!
Is your Team Alameda jersey getting a little thread bare? Or do you just love collecting new cycling jerseys and then having a good excuse to get new gloves and accessories to match? Well...we have a new TA jerseys ready for you! We are happy to welcome back Cycle City and Linguini's as team sponsors, and we're also glad to have Harbor Bay Club join us as a new sponsor. And we certainly want to acknowledge and thank Alameda Bicycle, Lars Hansson, Sweeps McNulty, Ron Arth and Kaiser Permanente for their ongoing support and sponsorship. The color and design are just different enough from the last one to keep things interesting. So, those of you who've been waiting for the new TA design, the time is now to place those orders!. Click here for an order form. Please note that orders must be placed using these forms no later than January 31, 2012!
The sizing on our jerseys has changed since our last round of production, so you are encouraged to try on sizes before ordering. THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS ONCE ORDERS ARE PLACED.
Lars Hansson's office is conveniently located at 2504 Santa Clara Ave, Suite 2. Lars has graciously offered to let people use his office to try on sample sizes during the following dates/times:
Saturday, Jan 21: 9am to 3pm
Saturday, Jan 28: 11am-noon
Sunday, Jan 29: noon-3pm

February Board of Directors Meeting
Monday February 13
The Team Alameda Board of Directors will be meeting on Monday, February 13. Members are invited to share their ideas and opinions at every meeting.
If you would like to attend the next meeting, it will be held at 7:00pm in Lars Hansson's conference room at 2504 Santa Clara Avenue.
If you have anything to say or ideas you would like to submit to the BoD, please come and be heard.
