Location
Kaiser Alameda
Ride Leader

Start

Description
: 3/BC/40
We will leave from the Kaiser steps at 7am. If you’re carpooling get there earlier so you can pack your bike and leave on time. This link has directions to where we will be driving to, https://goo.gl/maps/AsZbf . We will leave from Linda Vista School at 8am. Don’t forget to make a bathroom stop before you get to the school, there are no bathrooms there. There is a Burger King on McKee Rd. The weather Gods are smiling upon us this year. It will be about 50 and partly sunny. Good climbing weather, dress in layers because you will need them for the descent. As soon as we leave the parking lot we start climbing, for almost 20 miles to the top of MT Hamilton. Bring at least two water bottles, there is water at the top. Don’t forget bars and gels. After a brief rest you will begin your descent back to the parked cars. We should be back to the Island City by 1-1:30. Plenty of time to clean up and head to your Thanksgiving Dinner, because you will have earned it.
